Abe Yumeri (阿部夢梨) is a former 3rd generation member and leader of SUPER☆GiRLS and a former member of Jumpin'. She graduated on December 29, 2023.
She joined SUPER☆GiRLS on June 25, 2016. She was promoted to the group from TOKYO Yume Piyo-gumi.
Biography[]
2015[]
On July 12, Yumeri was announced to have passed the Girls Street Audition, along with 11 other girls.
On August 1, it was announced that Yumeri would join e-street Tokyo under its new name TOKYO Yume Piyo-gumi, along with Takei Sara.
2016[]
On June 25 it was announced that Yumeri would join SUPER☆GiRLS as a 3rd chapter member along with Kidoguchi Sakurako, Ishibashi Hotaru, Ozawa Runa, and Nagao Shiori.
2021[]
On June 30, she became the leader of SUPER☆GiRLS.
2022[]
On June 12, Yumeri has been suffering from poor physical conditions and will go on hiatus. She will be absent from all activities until she recovers. After that she restarted activities.
2023[]
On June 10, it is announced that Yumeri would graduate from SUPER☆GiRLS on December 29, 2023.
History[]
When she was 11 years old, she belonged to 'Actors studio Kanazawa', and joined in the idol group, Jumpin'.
She worked as a fashion model besides being an idol. She first appeared in the fashion magazine Niko☆Puchi in August of 2013; She appeared on it every issue after. In 2014, she was accepted as the 'Super reader model' in the February issue of Niko☆Puchi.
She also received the special awards 'The second JENNI' in 2013, and 'SISTER JENNI coordinate contest' in 2014.
She announced she left Jumpin' at their 2nd anniversary concert, 'Jumpin 2 the Future', and she moved from Actors Studio Kanazawa to Avex Artist Academy in Nagoya school. She then took the 'Girls Street Audition', and she passed final review, after which she joined IDOL Street.
Her reason to audition for the IDOL Street auditions was; "When I took the Kirachare 2014, GEM performed on the stage as the special guest. I saw their great performance, and I started thinking about becoming an idol like them, and I hoped to appear on the Kirachare as a guest in the future. That is why I became an idol". Since then, she has appeared on Kirachare.
