Maeshima Ami (前島亜美) is a former member and leader of SUPER☆GiRLS. She had been in the group since their formation in 2010. She graduated on March 31, 2017 from both SUPER☆GiRLS and iDOL Street.

She is currently the voice actor of Aya Maruyama in BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! and also a solo artist under KING RECORD's.

Biography[]

2010–2017: SUPER☆GiRLS[]

Maeshima Ami debuted as part of the first iDOL Street group SUPER☆GiRLS in 2010.

For SUPER☆GiRLS eighth single, the group was split into units, and Maeshima was given a solo song, "Sentimental Journey" (a cover of Matsumoto Iyo's hit song).

On June 25, 2016 she replaced Shimura Rika as leader of SUPER☆GiRLS.

On March 5, 2017 it was announced via IDOL Street that Maeshima would graduate from SUPER☆GiRLS on March 31 in order to pursue being a voice actor and musical actress. Maeshima had a graduation concert in late March 2017.[1]

2022[]

On November 30, it was announced that Maeshima ended her contract with Avex Management.

2023[]

On September 1, 2023, it was announced that Maeshima had recovered and that she will continue to do voice acting as she is now affiliated with Voice Kit agency.
