Sakabayashi Kana was born on 26 January 1997 in Hyogo, Japan, to parents whose names are undisclosed.
2018[]
On December 19, it was announced that Sakabayashi would join SUPER☆GiRLS as a 4th chapter member along with Kanazawa Yuuki, Ishimaru Chika, Inoue Mayuko, Kadobayashi Yuu, Higuchi Nazuna and Matsumoto Aika.
2023[]
On September 25, It was revealed that Sakabayashi Kana would be going on hiatus and halt all idol activities due to her being sick since last month and refraining from some activities due to her illness. Since she is still sick, She would be absent from all SUPER☆GiRLS concerts and activities until she recovers, she would slowly resume activities on 19th March 2024.
2026[]
On January 14, it was announced that Sakabayashi Kana and Tanaka Cocona would be graduating from the group, their graduation ceremony will take place at the group's 16th anniversary concert scheduled to be held in the summer[1].
