Takeda Maaya (武田舞彩) is currently a solo freelance singer. She was a 3rd generation Street-sei and member of Nagoya Chubu. She was a member of the iDOL STREET group GEM.
Biography[]
2007[]
In 2007, Takeda passed the Avex Audition Project Actor, Talent, and Model Audition.
While in Fukui Prefecture, she attended Avex Artist Academy's Osaka branch and later its Nagoya branch.
2010[]
In 2010, Takeda applied for Avex Idol Audition 2010 and advanced to the second round but was unsuccessful
2012[]
In June, Takeda passed the avex Idol Audition 2012 becoming a 3rd generation street-sei member of iDOL STREET
On June 12, She became a member of w-Street NAGOYA and Nagoya Chubu at SUPER☆GiRLS 2nd Anniversary Special & Idol Street Carnival 2012 .
In December, she was selected as a starting member of the 3rd iDOL STREET group GEM.
2013[]
In June, she became an official member of GEM
2016[]
In January, Takeda announced she will be going on a temporary hiatus for two years to study in Los Angeles with Suzuki Mariya and Yamamoto Marin from Cheeky Parade.
In June, Takeda started studying abroad.
2018[]
Takeda temporarily returned to Japan to join the rest of GEM in their last concert in late March. She then returned to LA to continue her study abroad.
On April 21, Takeda began street performances at the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica. Maaya performed at Third Street five times from April 21 to May 26 [1].
On May 18, Takeda graduated from Pacific Hills High School in West Los Angeles.[2]
